HAVS Risk Management and expsoure monitoring becomes ever easier with the Reactec HAVmeter; a small, durable, low cost unit designed to ease the burden of Hand Arm Vibration management.
The HAVmeter objectively monitors individuals' exposure to Hand Arm Vibration and alerts the user, in real-time, when they have reached their daily limit. It is designed for use with multiple tools giving a cumulative running points total in line with HSE guidelines and if desired the HAVmeter can keep a record of vibration exposure with details such as:
- Daily points total
- Exposure received from individual tools
- Tools used
- Time at which Action and Limit values were reached
Hand arm vibration over exposure can lead to vibration white finger, a debilitating condition affecting the hands and forearms. Using the HAvmeter allows you to easily view your employees exposure and if necessary adapt working conditions to reduce HAV exposure. The system takes the trigger time recording and administration problems out of your companies hands, all the data is downloaded wirelessly and the TOOLMINDER software allows detailed HAV report generation with no need for pens or paper.
