Earlsmere ID Systems specialise in the supply of integrated systems to the transport, warehousing, distribution and manufacturing industries and is an ISO 9001 registered company. EID's growth since its inception in 1988 has been continuous. Working from two sites in the UK we are able to offer a full range of products to cover all aspects of labelling and identification.
In 1996 we entered the animal identification market, supplying Ministry approved plastic and metal eartags for identifying cows, sheep, pigs, goats and other livestock from birth through slaughter, butchery and point of sale. In 1998 we adopted our RFID expertise to electronically identify food chain animals for total traceability. We were selected to be a contrator by Defra to electronically tag sheep in the recent 2004/05 sheep tagging trial. We not only supplied electronic tags, but RFID tag readers and StockMinder animal management software.
With ten thousand square feet of manufacturing facility we can offer both plain and printed roll stock utilising the latest label production equipment in flexographic and letter press methods.The technical and distribution department manufactures and distributes a full range of barcode label printing systems and data capture devices. EID represents printer manufacturers such as Toshiba Group, TEC, C.Itoh Electronics, Datamax and Zebra Technologies.
